Az elegáns budai környezetben nevelkedett, polgári jólétben élő lány élete a zsidótörvények hatására teljesen megváltozott. Palesztinába ment, mezőgazdaságot tanult, majd egy újonnan alakult kibucban dolgozott. Onnan bekerült az angol hadsereg különleges, titkos osztagába azzal a céllal, hogy Magyarországról segítse az angol repülősöket és értesse meg a magyar zsidókkal, mi vár rájuk, ha nem tesznek semmit önmagukért. A küldetés nem sikerült. A magyar határ átlépése után elfogták, megkínozták, halálra ítélték, majd agyonlőtték. Írói munkásságát csak halál után fedezték fel.
