The women's weekly Nők Lapja has long been much more than just a magazine: it is an old acquaintance whose writers have become true family members. Since its launch in 1949, it has accompanied generations of women throughout their lives, being passed on from grandmother to mother to daughter.
One could say that it has since grown into an institution and a part of the public consciousness that not only reflects Hungarian women's relationship with the world and everyday life, it also shapes it. Its regular readers include young girls and grandmothers, stay-at-home mothers and career women, as well as boys, men and grandfathers - all sharing a fondness for Nők Lapja.
The popular magazine is celebrating the 70th anniversary of its launch this year. The musical and literary programme marking this milestone, featuring Budapest Bar and Krisztián Grecsó, is about women, mothers and girls and about how they have seen and been able to see themselves over the past seventy years, ever since the publication has been thinking each week about them, that is, about the role, world and self-image of Hungarian women.
Led by Róbert Farkas, Budapest Bar will select hits from the past seven decades to play at this gala event.

Our offer

The overture to Berlioz's late opera Béatrice et Bénédict is an exciting and dynamic piece of music. Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto is one of the most popular works of the 19th century: virtuosic and intimate at the same time.

A művész pályafutásának 30 éves évfordulóját ünnepli idén és a jubileumi turnéja keretében dupla koncertet ad Budapesten!

Az előadás a műfajtól megszokott módon nincs híján humornak, játékosságnak, A mosoly országa a kibékíthetetlen világnézeti ellentétek, kulturális és társadalmi különbségek komoly kérdéseit járja körül, és ez a világ első operettje, mely nem vidám végkifejlettel zárul.
