ABOUT OUR EXHIBITIONS

The apartment museum, located on the first floor of the Memorial House, invites our visitors to travel back in time. As a result of the upheavals of history, no upper-middle-class apartment interior from the beginning of the 20th century has been preserved in its unchanged form anywhere else in Budapest. Our exhibition offers an insight into the lifestyle of the era, in addition to the history of the
Róth family.

Our applied arts exhibitions present a selection of Miksa Róth's mosaic and glass art, and as of September his design drawings too. The exciting innovations in the use of materials are outstanding in themselves, and the stories behind the artworks that place the works in context reveal additional details about the career of Miksa Róth. Besides collaborative works with the Zsolnay factory, visitors can also view award-winning mosaics judged at world exhibitions, windows by famous contemporaries, stained glass works designed for reputed clients, as well as beautiful glass paintings
of historicism and art nouveau.

Our offer

A darab hat különböző hátterű nőről szól, akik látszólag semmiben sem hasonlítanak egymásra, mégis ugyanarra az önbizalom-növelő rúdtánckurzusra jelentkeznek – ám hamar kiderül, hogy nem csupán a szexi mozgás miatt jöttek.

Evoking the excitement of anticipation and waltzing with angels in the bright starlight, to playfully immerse yourself in the Christmas wonderland.

Recirquel’s new production, Paradisum explores the myth of rebirth following the silence of a destroyed world, where the means of communication is the body, and the only common language is movement.
