She held the Hungarian Female Singer of the Year award for several years in a row. She has won awards at many festivals, has a three-and-a-half octave vocal range and a unique delivery and style of movement. In this concert, Bódy will perform her most memorable songs from the last 50 years - both classic hits and her own compositions - with the help of some notable old musical friends.
Magdi Bódy's career began in the 1970s. From 1981, she lived in Canada and the United States for 15 years, first teaching at the Ottawa Conservatory of Music before running her own singing school in Toronto and New York in the 1990s. During that time, she also performed in prestigious concert halls in Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, Moscow and Vienna.
