Founded in 1970, the New York-based Ballet Hispánico is one of the most important institutions of Latin American culture in the United States, and its company has performed for more than 2.5 million people on three continents. Carmen.maquia pays tribute to Bizet’s world-famous opera, Carmen, which premiered 150 years ago.
