Charles, a sokat megélt öreg bűnöző épphogy kijött a börtönből, régi haverja, Mario máris nagy melót szállít neki. A cannes-i kaszinót kell kifosztania Francis-szal, Mario unokaöccsével, egy kezdő, ám ambiciózus fiatalemberrel. A két férfi Cannes-ba költözik, és Charles megszervezi, előkészíti a betörést.
