NoGravity: Aria / BTF 2020

NoGravity: Aria / BTF 2020

Inspired by the breathtaking, marvellous elements and extraordinary apparatuses of renaissance and baroque theatre, Emiliano Pellisari wanted his company to speak a unified language of theatre by combining the different forms of performing art, such as singing, acrobatics and acting. The visuals, the magic, the spectacle, the illusions and dreamy visions imbue the performances of NoGravity Ensemble with pure poetry.

Centred around different subjects, the spectacular productions have enchanted audiences around the world, from Russia to South America, from Switzerland to Poland, and from Spain to Germany.
Aria selects from the music of the Baroque period, and the dancers, the acrobats, the musicians and the singers all contribute to the astonishing visuals. Incredibly, it seems possible to defy gravity.

This performance of the Budapest Spring Festival is presented by Budapest Festival and Tourism Centre as a joint program with National Dance Theatre.
