Gounod’s French grand opera has been an indispensable element of any self-respecting opera company’s repertoire, and to this day remains among the most frequently performed operas. The composer's aim was not an operatic adaptation of Goethe’s masterpiece. Born from the libretto by Jules Barbier and Michel Carré was a perfumed and smoky drama spiced with elements of romance and horror, as well as gothic motifs: a story of romance, the supernatural, religion, and the eternal battle against satanic powers.

Poirot nyomozó kényelmes hazaútra vágyik a legendás, káprázatos Orient Expresszen. Csakhogy az előkelő útitársak között akad valaki, aki nagyon gyanús. Annyira gyanús, hogy bele is hal. A gyilkos pedig közöttünk van, hölgyeim és uraim… és nem is biztos, hogy egyetlen áldozattal beéri.
Székely Csaba drámaíróként először 2011-ben, a POSZT Nyílt Fórum programjában tűnt fel, ahol Bányavirág című színdarabjáért a Színházi Dramaturgok Céhe neki ítélte oda a Vilmos-díjat. Pályája azóta töretlenül ível felfelé. Darabjait számos magyar színház bemutatta, ő pedig háromszor nyerte el a Színikritikusok díját a legjobb új magyar drámáért.
