The Angelica Girls' Choir was founded in the Városmajor High School in Budapest in 1989. It was established and continues to be headed by choirmistress Zsuzsanna Gráf, a former student of the Liszt Academy. In just over three decades since its foundation, the choir has achieved countless successes at home and abroad, dazzled at international choral competitions and festivals, and been an enthusiastic promoter of repertoire pieces and choral works by Hungarian composers. The Purcell Chorus began life one year later, as did the Angelica Girls's Choir. This choir is also led by its former founder. Directed by György Vashegyi, the chorus - working in symbiosis with the Orfeo Orchestra - has become the most significant vocal workshop for authentic early music in Hungary over the last three decades. The Wrocław Baroque Orchestra is Poland's most important historical early music orchestral ensemble and was established by Andrzej Kosendiak in 2006. Its repertoire extends from the early Baroque to early Romantic periods. It has collaborated with all the most significant conductors in the genre from Philippe Herreweghe to Giovanni Antonini.

Our offer

Pursuing happiness, love and affection through countless adventures across this great wide world, but still eventually finding a final peace in the arms of his beloved, Peer Gynt is one of the most complex characters in 19th-century drama. The challenges of staging and absorbing the play are always exceptional tests of strength for the director and the audience.
